I recently discovered that "Almost Rosey" was released as a promo single from "American Doll Posse". I would have prefered "Digital Ghost" as the style of the song is more reflective of the Tori of old.

The click goes off in my head. I feel the shift in my senses. Overdrive.

I look up over the rim of Styrofoam. I see her. Despair etched in every line of her face. Her hands tremble with the weight of the cup, and the weight of her grief. He sits across from her. His expression haughty, but ruffled all the same.

My ears burn from listening. The only thing I can hear over her wracking sobs is the silence coming from him. It’s deafening. She tries to draw in breath. The only word she can utter is ‘why?’ Why is this happening? Why to her? Why now?

sayin goodbye wasn't so good this time.

I have quite a few tori posters and other things that I was wondering the value of. If anyone could help me on this i would be very greatful. I currently have thre HUGE tori posters, two of which are from the choir girl period, and the third is the Junkies baddy powder poster. I also have a cross necklace from the Boys for Pele period that reads "we both know it was a girl back in Bethlahem" on one side and "tori amos dew drop in tour" on the other.

This is a short, lovely and really obscure poem, which I’m posting here due to several reasons. First of all, I found Wernerowa’s poetry totally by chance, on a forgotten shelf in a local library, a few feet below Polish Poetry plate, and it turned out that I am the first person who wanted to read it since 1999. Then I translated it into English so, all in all, this poem feels so mine now
The other reason is that the idea of the Gardener as a wise, elderly man, who seems to know much more than an average human being and is closely connected with the Nature, immediately made me think of “The Beekeeper” (despite the fact that The Beekeeper is a woman). And… even though I’m not certain how to interpret some metaphors here (or maybe because of this ), I can’t help loving it.

...my Mom saw this clip of this classroom of children singing a Tori Amos song (Flying Duchman). It was the sweetest thing! The teacher heading the class is a huge fan, and another clip showed tori actually visiting with the class (they sang 'Dragons'). Wonderful to watch. In the meantime, I picked up an anothology of TA music at the library the other day, which included some songs I hadn't heard before. In fact, I'm finding them rather elusive in recorded form. Ok so the story is....I had a date with Kim an old flame. No BD but she calls at like 3 and says she's not feeling well and that's that. So then it's like ok just hang out this weekend. So then...Maria calls. She's a woman from work and asks if I would like to go to dinner and if it's ok if her Mom comes along. She is Hispanic so I am told this is a big deal or somethin'. So we go to dinner and back to her place and talk for a few hours and I go home. So I'm on myspace and low and behold my ex's blog comes on. She is getting married and havin' another kid.

Like anyone will ever read this but I'm bored so why not. Just moved to Grand Rapids and tell you what it is a change from that crappy little town!! So much to do and see...no wonder why I have not unpacked all the way lol. It's nice being so close to work..only like a 2 second drive to work Haven't met anypne yet but of course after what Char did to me...she says no nothing happend but when you have a guy saying yes it did and it was him and she was acting odd you wonder. Annnyyway..gtg make breakfast so ttfn
