UK Tour RIP - no VIP *sniff*
I feel like I'm always the last to know, even when I'm signed up to all the fanletters. Well Tori came to the UK for like 3 dates. I didn't find out until all the tickets had been snared by the touts. I couldn't get seats, not without taking out a personal loan to afford them on ebay. Well, that's fine as it is. I should have kept more up to date somehow.
BUT, I just got a fanletter saying the Tori store is selling VIP tickets for the US tour.
???? Awwww mannn..... I would have paid that!
So I am left feeling sorely disillusioned. Why did the UK not get a similar thing? So attention tour managers. Come back to the UK and give us VIP tickets, please!! Some of us did not get our Tori fix!

i think we'd all love the VIP treatment at a Tori Amos gig. I must say, i' m quite curious about what goes on backstage at a Tori Gig - does anybody know, has anybody been there? Tori - perhaps you'd like to tell us a little bit about the how and what of it???
i love the little clips of behind the scenes footage on Welcome To Sunny Florida: The part where Tori, Matt, & John share essential oils and have a big group hug and Doing-gi-di-doing it.....and the way Tori describes Tash being "Baptised of Fire" when before a concert there is a short ceremony with Native American Mothers....WOW - Tori really is a woman living a beautifully poetic life.....
why wouldn't we all want to share some of that magic?
not that that comes with the VIP package.....but to witness......an unforgettable experience i'm sure

Yes, please come back to the UK...VIP tickets sound great....having the chance to listen to the soundcheck and meet some of the other Tori fans and maybe a photo opportunity is great for the fans. But having said that, I'd be more than happy with just having more UK dates! Like you, I didn't hear about the UK tour until a few days after tickets went on sale and by then, only a few seats at the back were left so ended up paying silly prices for some tickets nearer the front. I just hope there might be a few extra UK shows at the end of the tour although I think unlikely....never mind there's always next time..
Well of course the Soundcheck in the VIP is great! BUT I am glad we didn't get them because it would have been extremely limited and so stressful getting the tickets and on top of that it would have probably meant no M&G's and that would have been awful!
I am travelling to Albany and have a VIP for there- but I liked the way we did it in the UK

I think VIP package is ok, but think about it. Maybe to buy a VIP package means no M&G for everyone? Just for a few? I don't know, but one of the most beautiful things concerning a tori gig is just to meet other fans, waiting for her, and finally meeting her...
In the other hand watching soundcheck would be great, and meet Tori maybe in a easier way...
We'll see. I hope just that net Europe tour if they sell VIP p. all the fans could get one.
I totally agree with you. I was very disappointed to read this news last night. The VIP package sounds fantastic. What a shame the European tour wasn't the same.
