Favourite moments in Tori's videos
Hey everyone,
I was wondering if some of you have some favourite moments in any of Tori's videos? Like favourite clips. I know I have one in the video to "A sorta fairytale" when Tori jumps up on the skateboard and starts singing 'And I ride along side' with the wind in her hair; that clip is like magic to me 
Another one is in "Jackie's Strength" when we see the elder woman standing with her pills not wanting to take them. I don't know why, but I've always noticed something like this when watching any music video. Little, good things in the videos make them worth watching, I believe

At this point VH-1 hardly plays videos, and is getting to where reality TV is the only thing they put on. Add to that, they seem to only have any interest in trying to air the next up and coming "it" thing. It's pathetic really.

For the mermaid, of course it's a paradox. See, I like Raspberry Swirl, but it's not my favourite song from TA or even from that album. The video though, oh my god! It puts me in mind of Jan Svankmeyers' (I know I didn't spell that right, it's swedish and I don't know how to make that o with a slash through it) Alice. It's a take on the Alice in Wonderland, going through many doors and the images just work so beautifully with the song. A little dessert burlesque if you will.
VH1 can kiss it. Up here in the north, Much Music actually aired David Bowie's Heart's Filthy Lesson vid when it came out and then banned it later due to viewer response. I wrote angry letters on the lines of not wanting to be baby-sat by cowardly bureaucratic fascists, but I didn't get anywhere. It usually comes down to money and if the company that owns VH1 doesn't appreciate or approve of a certain artist, they're out. jerks.

Well, sometimes I just really don't understand vh1, and if they're the reason that Tori no more makes videos that's just really sad! I LOVE Tori's videos and I love watching them over and over again... I understand that she wants to spend the money making the music and sound even greater, but I still miss my videos
Stupid vh1!!

AH, I can't remember which Biorgrapy it was in 'Piece by Piece' or 'Pretty Good Years,' but Amos and her management could not understand why VH-1 refused to aire the video of 'Sleeps with Butterflies.' I think this heavily influenced Amos, to not invest money into making big production video's. She chose instead to put all the money into making the music. It's very sad and for the life of me, I can't figure out why VH-1 would not aire such a beautiful video. Peace...

Wow, what?? Did vh1 refuse to show "Sleeps With Butterflies"? Why would they do that?? Btw, Tori is SO beautiful in that video with her red hair and her pretty face expressions

Good Thread AH...There are so many moments I love in Amos' videos. "1,000 Oceans,' it's impossible for me to pick a moment. "Sleeps with Butterflies," I love the shot of Amos with that red headress on, and the final shot of her sitting in front of the black outline of butterfly wings. Why VH-1 refused to show such a beautiful video is beyond me.

yes, Past the Mission is amazing, the whole video. another moment; in CALS, when the different Toris are pulling (or being pulled) the chair back and forth.. geez I think I need to watch Fade to Red now
YEAH - you're absolutely right, it's so cool!! I believe it is in an elevator, but it's been a long time since I last saw that video..
Another favourite of mine is Tori's expression on her face in 'Past the Mission', when she stands in front of the priest, right before she kneels down with everyone else... I just think that that face expression says so much
