Tori Bootlegs & Tori’s International Fans

To all of the devoted international fans… Unfortunately because the world isn't under one law and one currency, selling the online Legs & Boots releases outside of the US & Canada is proving impossible at this time. We are however continuing to research ways in which you too can participate in this experience. Until such time that we are able to make the collection available Internationally please give us your name, email and country information below (click 'more' if you don't see the form below) and we’ll contact you once we’ve found a way around these issues. Thank you for your understanding & patience.

I appreciate that Tori and her team are trying to get the online downloads sorted out for everyone to access, but I have to agree with Akkeri and Cat - I would LOVE for the bootlegs of the recent tour to be released on CD. Akkeri's idea of one disc for each posse member would be perfect. Like Cat, I was also at the Manchester gig and it was superb. Would be fantastic for this to be included.

Shall keep my fingers crossed for a great collection of bootlegs on CD (to have them for Christmas would have been fab!!).

Tori, you have thousands of Australian fans gagging for bootlegs of this tour!

Either get international downloads working, or (better yet) release another set of CDs. One for each member of the posse. You know you want to!

Please please make a bootleg of the Manchester show ....i loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Great - at least that sounds like there is some hope of this happening. I understand there are difficulties, but given the potential internatinal market - it must be worth resolving the issues.

Let us not get greedy the non US fans. I am sure that once the people can do it they will let us know. Just keep the faith and let us be patient:-)

To anyone who is responsible for the bootlegs, thanks for taking into account the non-US fans' requests.

I am sure you are doing your best as always.

what a pity !!!! i'im from France a i was in concert in Paris like others concerts Tori was "magnifique" so when i've heard about "legs and boots" i was very happy
anyway i have bootlegs from 2005 and i think i 'll be patient for the others

What about the Israeli show? Sad
It was so special... + the longest setlist - 25 songs.

..I mean I've been at the first show in Rome and it was amazing. Due the fact that is a e-commerce, so no cost for stamp record, cover etc etc. why they did not realize shows even in Europe ? I think it could be a good business and a good thing for us...anyway I hope in official stuff very soon. .)

No doubt there will be a delay, no doubt someone has to work out a sutiable exchange rate between European currencies and the US$, no doubt it will be that good old rate of $1.00 = £1.00, then add on VAT. Oh yes I can see how much more complex this must be than simply to allow non USA residents to buy online. I can buy software online, goods online, I've purchased music and video downloads online etc etc.

The fact that they have a newsletter and are obviously investigating ways around this means it's all positive.

At least they (Tori & Management) are looking at ways around this....so stop griping....and be patient!

Fingers crossed we have a resolution soon !

me encantan los temas de tori !!
soy de chile y los felcito a todos !
besos

i bought porn form your country and i can't get audio pornography? come on tori..give me another reason please! you RULE! let the girls fly everywhere!

I'm not a lawyer too, but I also have some slightly difficulties fully understanding the reasons why they can't sell out of the US.
At least our comments have been read and I'm glad to see it.
I hope they can fix it out soon.

Thank you for reading us.

Is it right, butterfly, they like you better framed and dried?

Thanks for providing some more clarification. I hadn't realised that the venues would have a say in the distribution. On the one hand it seems a bizzare situation, but on the other, it does sort of make sense Smiling I wonder if the venue gets a slice of the profits.

Anyway, fingers crossed, they'll get it all sorted as there's nothing quite like seeing/hearing Tori play live.

[Elrainia will now bow out of the conversation for fear of starting a flame war...]

There are legal issues dealing with the recordings that stem from the fact that Tori initially wanted to release as many if not all of the shows as bootlegs from the US leg of the tour however per each venue they can decide to release the recording or not. It is up to the venue and don't have to let the recording go. That is why so many shows we won't see. Legally they can probably also say you can release the recordings in US, Canada etc etc but they can also prob say no further.

OK, so we've got some information, but I for one still don't get it.

"Unfortunately because the world isn't under one law and one currency"

I don't see why the currency is an issue. The internet is a mature enough market that people buy and sell across currencies with minimal fuss. They've even sorted out the sales taxes over the last couple of years. Maybe someone on Tori's team needs to speak to Amazon Smiling

tori does not come to our country for lots of good economic reasons we guess....at least let us pay and download the shows!!! visa and mastercard work in my country the last time i checked. thank you!!

This is great news that Tori and the label are concerned about fans around the world who want the legs and boots collections. I'm sure the last thing Tori wants to do is to dissapoint those who want to hear her music. I'm sure they will make it happen somehow.
