It is a great thing that Tori will be letting fans download bootlegs from most of the future concert tour dates. I purchased the complete set of the last concert tour that was available online and will glady purchase the future ones when they are released. It would be nice to know which shows get picked for the bootlegs after each show. These may be choosen based on quality so who knows which ones will be picked, looking forward to seeing what shows are made availble. I will be at the MPLS, MN show however. I hope that the plans for the DVD release will be that we get several full length shows with each doll opening. Details have been vague not sure if we will get each doll opening then just Tori completing the round of one show. Would be a thrill to get several full length shows for sure.

Due to the speed of bringing this to the net I wonder if the soundmix will be right for home use.
The sound from the soundboard is mixed for a stadium or hall. It's quite different then for your homeset.
(Pearl Jam explain this on their site, that's why it takes 10 days before the recordings are put online).

This aside I think its a brilliant gesture and I wish more artists (ie Prince) would use this option of helping the fanbase and in the end themselves.

I have really been crossing my fingers for something like this. As someone who can't afford to follow the show from city to city I am thrilled to not be missing all those special moments. Has there been a decision about whether they will be a for fee download or free?

The first time Pearl Jam put their shows online, it was the first day after the show itself. Last year it took a couple of days longer, but not 10. The quality got improved the 2nd time (from 128 to 192 if I'm correct, AND for a couple of dollars more you could also download the shows as flac-files).

The rumours for there digital downloads came earlier than the European tour earlier this year. I wonder if those shows end up for download as well. If I read the newsflash correct, only shows from the upcoming US fall-tour will be up for download (not even all of them). And will there be artwork included (and pictures from the show and the venue) we could print out ourselves to make our own bootleg-cd?

I had heard this news bouncing about the net months ago, and i am PSYCHED that it is actually going to happen now. brilliance. my skin is the only thing keeping me from going every which way all at once. WOOOOOO!!!

Tori Amos bootlegs from the American Doll Posse World Tour? How amazing. I wonder if we are able to download whichever live song we choose or if we have to download the concert in its entirety, and for how much a song/a concert. I'm also wondering if Tori plans to, like The Beekeeper era, release bootlegs on CD. That would be amazing as well. I actually like the sound of that than downloading a bootleg, but I can live. It's still awesome.

I'm going to see Tori this Friday at the Madison Square Garden! I hope we get Pip and I hope she sings Peeping Tommi and Raspberry Swirl! So, Tori, if you happen to read this... PLAY PEEPING TOMMI AND RASPBERRY SWIRL!!! Haha. Sorry.

surely beats the "boots can leave a mess" fan quality *winks* I will definitely keep an eye out for them. I would be nice if the boots could have a digital picture to download as well (an insert). Or as Cloudbouncing pointed out have maybe limited number of physical copies available....That would rock as well. Looking forward to your Pittsburgh show. We need you!

This great news, awesome Idea that many bands do now you can even buy cds of the show at some venues if you don't mind the wait right after, well an hour or so after, theres a posting on the New Model Army website about the company who does this (I'm not saying that it's the same company nor same idea as what Tori will be doing) reguardless I'm very excited.

Yes Tori has already said there will be official bootlegs released of this toour they will take several shows of the best ones and then release them. She again stated this in the recent web chat.

I wonder if European and Australian fans will be able to purchase the bootlegs and also if some of the European and Australian shows will be available at some point.

This show should really be considered for download as it was a first rate 2 hour auditory orgasm. The best I've ever heard!

I really hope these new Bootlegs include the Australian shows - the Brisbane concert was simply AMAZING..... I have previously made up my own CD's of the Tori shows i've been too by copying the songs off her albums and making up a new playlist with the songs from the actual concert, just so that i can re-live "the night that was".... So pretty PRETTY PLEASE include the Australian Tour in your tour CD's.

to the best of my memory, in the web chat, she mentioned that the digital downloads won't be available until the Philadelphia show. Whether this means that there's a delay for the shows before Philly or if the shows before Philly won't be available, I don't know. But I think she was implying that all shows starting from Philly will be available to us and that's it, with a possibility of a few CD releases if there are any standout shows. I can't wait though. The world over will see her before I do! I have to wait for the Anaheim and L.A. shows. If only Oakland and Santa Barbara weren't too far...

Okay, so I just checked out a link that somebody recomended for the setlist for the Syracuse show and on this link were several homemade recordings of the show. I listened to them all. Even with these non professional recordings (no slight intended, I was thrilled to see and hear the selections, thanks for posting them!) it was once again made perfectly clear that her vocals were right on the money. Every emotion rang true and was quite palpable. I know you quys who work at the sound board know what I am talking about. Everything came together perfectly that night! I am content with the memories that I have from this show but if it were up to me I would release it. If the technology wasn't available from Syracuse for download how about a hard copy? Either way, thank you all for your hard workit was a great show!
