But I'll try. Never, ever has there been any artist who has reached into the deepest recesses of my being and dragged out emotions from one end of the spectrum to the other like Tori's music has. From moments of personal joy to down-spirals of lonliness and solice, Tori's voice, piano, and twisting, hauntingly masterful lyrics keeps me company, as well as my sanity, provides an escape for me, and is something aside from anything else I've ever heard, something on a higher level, a special gift given to us by her. I've been totally hooked on Tori since an old friend gave me a copy of Little Earthquakes several years ago. I havn't been quite right since the 2nd complete listen of that disc. She has a powerful, stunning, yet strangely subtle very human prescence about her in everyway. Quiet and thoughtful, but in your face somehow. And she is beautiful. Just a beautiful human being, period.
I admire her perseverence and longevity as an artist, and have enjoyed watching her natural talent mature and develop over the years like a fine wine. She never disappoints with new projects, works very hard at what she does, and love us (her fanbase) as much as we love her. It's just a very special thing overall she gives and shares with us.
