Digital Cameras
Anyone know,
Are we allowed to bring them inside the halls?
(esp for the DC & Phila show??)

Security gave me a fake and quick pat-down in the jacket pocket, but they seemed pained at doing it....then later, there were cameras all over the place in the show.
Nov. 7th, 2007 at Northrup Auditorium, University of Minnesota, USA.

I'm gonna give Constitution Hall a call tomorrow when their hours are open to see what the deal is with cameras (since there have been so many questions/threads about this)
Well at the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide, I asked and the staff there told me it was fine. I didn't get in trouble at all, so I guess it depends which venue you go to.

I'm so sad like a good book I can't put this day back...
Tori Amos - Adelaide, Septemper 20, 2007!
SORRY PEOPLE AM NOT A b**** JUST HAVE MORALS IS ALL. Have noticed a lot of Tori fans also do.
Hope I helped (put details of camers's for reference to help)
Best of luck to you all.
Cheers Bek
In Melb they didn't check but security inside were an the ball, but a guy up in dress circle kept takin pics and they told him over 30 times to stop. then He didn't respond or give a s*** used flash and all. They gave up in the end but didn't take it off him.
We had hubby's camra top of the line Olympus with sigma DC hsm 30mm lens and Olympus 40-150mm lens. we hid it of course as it said over the speaker no photography mobiloe phones or recording devices are permitted in theatre. All was cool turned screen and sound off and of course did not use flash.
Don't use a flash as it only lights up a foot in front of you you are more likely to get a good pic if you don't use it and focus on Tori and have a slow shutter speed and a sturdy hand to get the max exposure you need to get the best results.
In Adelaide Theatre was small and not so on the ball in side venue. The did check bags and I had our other camera with me Konica Minolta X700 had to cloak it because 10 x optical zoom. The guy said because the of the size of the venue otherwise it would have been fine other cameras were ok.
he did fail to see my digital camera in bottom of bag WOOO HOOO I got me and a gun live on dvd. and pip. Its a little shakey and moves around a nit because I had my hat over the top to go un noticed but later in the show was more relaxed it moves around a bit as well, didn't film all as battery is s***. AWSOME. Also It is for personal viewing only I, took my daughter who is 9 and a huge fan and we will cherish it foreverit WILL NOT be appearing on you tube or any other video posting forums Will offer to followers for a cost and donation to RAINN, with sighned form forms that it will not be copied or posted on a web site. If I do see it you will be found and sued. I will not hesitate for a second.
Also only take pics for personal us or to give to other Tori fans. DO NOT SELL ON EBAY OR PROFIT FROM TORI. It is just not fair. of course if you print for others recover your cost. or if you get money donate it to RAINN.
Dont want to sound like a b**** but hey Tori does ALOT for us dedicated passionate followers so the least we can do is if we can make a profit proceeds should go straight to her I would recommend thru RAINN.
I know for sure that they don't even check for cameras at the doors at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia. It all depends on Tori/Tori's people if we will actually be able to take pictures.
