It was my first show. My gut was telling me Clyde and Tori - and it told me right.

I met Tori at the Meet and Greet and was too nervous to say what I have wanted to say for 10 years. Mainly because others were waiting...

Guys, from what I was hearing from those who had been to other shows, this show was definately unique.

She gave 4 encores songs? Maybe more... Clyde and Tori graced and endulged us with their powers.

She cussed out a group dancing wildly to the right - stating, "Smitty, get OUT here!" Then she stormed to the stage and pointed at the people, "Get (or STAY) the f*** out of my show!"

Get back!!!

The auditiorium went FREAKIN wild! Then she stated somethin like, " I told these guys that these North Carolinians would get their asses out of the seats..., etc... etc.. - something about FIRES in us - but with kind hearts...." --- guys, she waved to the whole auditorium to come to the front - ( I heard this was UNheard of -...)

I just couldn't believe that the universe came through like it did with Tori's concert. I had always wanted to go - and was resolved the fact that I wouldn't - then WHEN I DID - it was a unique experience for everyone - and I knew I was standing "On holy ground" - especially since she showed her own FIRE tonight.... i left a momento with Smitty who gave it to another woman- but should have explained to Tori it was something found in the earth 16 years ago - and how it was revealed... not sure if I will have a chance now.

I think there is this familiarity with her - that you just think that you'll be speaking with her again... then reality hits and ya think - "Ah hell, not again in this life time... probably..."

I quickly bolted with the others to the stage ... somehow, making it RIGHT to the stage. This nice couple who were TOTAL Tori fans knew it was my first show and insisted I take their place at the stage....

She rocked it. So powerful... I wonder if she will be back. I hope the musical or musicals take center stage in her 'creative life' after the tour.

Oh, Tash is adorable. Everyone was respectful of her privacy but Tash was still gracious with hellos and smiles. A very bright and kind person all on her own.

Tori's crew - excellent people - Smitty and Alli - and another individual who was looking for a bake sell... she reminded me of Zena but with brown eyes... she donated money for the RAINN concert and chose a ring handmade by our very own Bending Chills.

I was curious to see if after ALL of what she gave us tonight - if she would still sign autographs for the "aftershow" crowd. It relieved me to see her diss the crowd and get on the bus from another angle. It was already late and she has another show soon! Meet and Greets are in the a.m....

I want to go on to Atlanta. But tomorrow is life. I've had my sabbatical. Smiling

Thank you for Clyde and Tori.

The whole event of not "being together" my very first time has challenged me to be next time. I think it is something you practice with each M&G. (Of course I roll with laughter at this thought...)

Still thrilled.

Having "The Piano" is like having your Multi-Tori-Vitamin every day.

I have blogged my brains out about all of this over in my profile. But was so blown away by the whole thing that I had to sort of 'take a day' to process all of it. I wish I'd had more of my brain together for the M&G, but it is hard to walk up to someone you respect and whose work has meant so much to you and not feel overwhelmed by having a conversation with them.

Well, let me tell you something about America...".

I was the "mohawked" guy with the Recovering Christian shirt at the Meet and Greet and a Satin Worship shirt at fatigues at the concert. Great show.. not my fave but I hadn't heard Little Earthquakes or Marinanne live in a while so that was a treat. I was kinda hoping 4 some covers during the T N Bo section Sad

I was at this show, and it was great. I was in the front row, right of center, and Tori was definitely yelling at the security guard because she WANTED people to get up and dance. People were very respectful, no one got hurt, and it seemed like people went to the stage in the same basic order that they were seat-wise. I started in the front row right of center, so I ended up against the stage right of center. All fair. And we were able to DANCE like I wanted. Smiling You should dance at a Tori show. Great show, great memories.

FYI and T N Bo meant Tori and Bosendorf... it's the updated "Piano bar" portion of the show

Yes.. the yelling was directed at the venue's security guards who were trying to make everyone sit down but Tori said it was her f***ing show! and that the Tori fans knew not to hurt one another so everyone stayed out of their seats from that point on. It was awesome. I did the VIP thing also. Finally back at work 2day. Hope everyone had an awesome time. Oh yeah... and she did Concertina and Tear In Your Hand at the soundcheck.

I was at the Charlotte show to! It was excellent! Misty, I had VIP tickets to, i'm sure I probley saw you what were you wearing? I was at the very back of the line at the meet and greet...red hair, glasses , brown jacket.
I thought the "outburst" was at the security guard. Thats what it looked like from where I was siting. I saw them them comeing around all the time makeing people sit down and makeing them put their camara phones away.

Glad you had such a good time. After reading that I'm really revved for the three Florida shows I'll be going to. I've haven't thought a whole lot about them but now that they are only a few days away - the first one on Sunday - I'm starting to get really psyched.

I'm confused, lol why were the cops there in the first place?

Well anyhoo, glad u enjoyed the show, & I dId enjoy Isabel in DC & Santa in Philly..

and I will be attending the Clearwater show Tues night in Sunny FLORIDA BABY..

&I've definitly been feeling Pip & the "dark" energy come over me!

Dreams Come True!!

This is the third time I've seen Tori and concert and I'd go another 103 times! She is never the same and always absolutely fabulous. I do not now what the projection of T & BO meant though - do any of you? If so, please share.

Thanks for writing this! I was at the show last night...my very first Tori concert. I was more excited than I could even say. I told my hubby I either felt a Clyde night or Pip. I was just so excited to see her. I was totally nervous that I might faint or do something stupid (even though I wasn't even in the orch. section). Luckily, I just cried and screamed. lol
Anyway, I def. felt something magical. I've never been to a Tori show, so I don't know if they are all like that, but this was def. a very, very, special experience.

The "outburst" was wild! SItting towards the back, I had no idea of what was going on. I felt pretty sure it was a security person of sorts that she was telling to get out the "f***" out of her show. Cause afterwards she told the people as long as they didn't hurt any one she didn't care if they danced. I've never been to a Tori concert (and this is my 7th) where people were standing in the aisles and at the stage like that. TO be honest the whole show was different from what she normally does. I've never she a costume change or anything with her. IF anyone has any other clarification about the "outburst" please share. This could easily become a famous moment in Tori history!!!!

YES GIRL ME TOO AT THE HOTEL PUTER NOW!!! LOL! SHE told the cop to get out of her show it's cool we are not in DC!!!That us North carolina folk have fire!!!!
