Roxvelt -- I think that is part of the problem -- Datura has so many sound "layers" that they are having difficulty getting all the sounds. She did mention something to that effect.

When I met her last Sunday I gave her some plumeria (Frangipani) seeds. I grow them and wanted to give her some cause she sang about them but she took it as a request. She (Tori herself) told me that she is waiting for the sound bites for that song and it is taking longer than expected but she is still working on it. I would not expect it this tour.

I'm starting to wonder if she will really get to do it this tour. I know she said she wanted to, but with her back catalog, I don't know how many of her songs they can really keep on the tip of their brains. I just know that if they do it, I really hope it is on a show with a bootleg available.

I have to say that although I have always found Tori's shows overwhelmingly incredible, and always beyond fulfilling no matter what the setlist, I am a little sad that I didn't get to hear "Datura" in Clearwater. It's a song that just flies off in a whole other direction from any other song, it's like on another planet, and doesn't go by any rules, and I love it for this so much. But it is probably quite a challenge to play live. Still, after getting my hopes up, I thought maybe... oh well...
