I went last night and it was great. I was dead center in the fourth row. Tori has so much more energy than she did two years ago. It's kind of like the Choirgirl tour, only looser in the sense that she and the band seem to be having so much fun together. I've never seen her smile so much.
The improv about her plans to fill up today on her mom's fried chicken was funny. The other improvs about her brother and about someone who is a diamond were more sober and touching.
Seeing pictures of the jumpsuits doesn't do them justice in terms of their effect. She wore the gold one and it was constantly twinkling from the lights. Even the bad shape of it - it makes her look as if she has no butt whatsoever - is kind of endearing.
The sound in the King Center is fantastic - crystal clear. And I saw only one person get up for what I presume was a bathroom break. During Liquid Diamonds, no less. How dare she.
Anyway, one down and two to go.

this show was so amazing....... One of my Top ever. Clyde was a bautifl little frahgil gril, and Tori was full of zest. The sound was amazing, as I knew from expirence it would be. WHle nto a bautiful looking hall, The King Center has great acoustic properties. The show was full of magis. The improves were sweet and very family driven with Persephone in the house and mom and dad in the center.
Liquid Diamonds was stuning, and I had many other worldly space cake moments. I wish I could go back to that bubble. Atleast with the L&B I can relive it =)

GREAT EXPECTATIONS---------FULFILLED
Oh--what a sweet show. I was there too. 5th Row center seat 17-18. I drove up from Miami. I have seen Tori at the King Center before...so I kinda knew what to expect. I was a expecting a quiet, sweet girl to show up and she did CLYDe.. And yet I was blown away by the whole set list...it was better than I ever expected....I actually cried during the Diamond improv and when she sang Digital Ghost well that just gave me shivers. Upside Down was good too. I have VIP tix to the West Palm Beach show and I am just shaking with excitement. I have been a fanatic for her since 1993 and have seen her maybe seven times over the years but it will be the first time I meet her. Will be attending with my own BitterSweet Girl Luna, my 13 year old daughter. I used to sing Cornflake Girl when I was 21 yrs old & pregnant with her..."this is..this is this is not reallly happening....You bet your life it is"

Hilarious that you should mention going to the bathroom during Liquid Diamonds. My brother attended the Vic-Chicago show with us. He is a moderate fan at best but did have the distinction of having Tori do an improv of his lost girlfriend, "Beautiful Girl", during a show at the Chicago Theater a few years ago. Anyway, when he left to go to the bathroom and get some beers, my wife said, "He just left during Liquid Diamonds!" At least everyone knew he was a neophyte. If he really had to go, he could have waited until Cornflake Girl!
