I miss my piano...

No votes yet

I just moved out two months ago, and it's great to live in my own appartment!! However, sometimes I really miss my piano at my parent's Sad I wasn't able to bring it with me, so I only get to play on it whenever I visit my parents... When playing, I feel like meditating, and I can't help but missing it these days!! I hope I will soon be able to move to a bigger place and bring my piano with me Laughing out loud

Hey, I understand the problem well Sad This is the only disadvantage of this wonderful instrument- it's not portable! How frustrating. I moved from my parents' house when I started studies in Kraków, and had to leave my Boesendorfer there *Sigh* I'm happy that I can at least take my violin everywhere I go!
take care AH, the new year will surely bring the solutions for all our problems Laughing out loud

I can't even bear the thought of having to leave my piano or saxophone right now. But I'll have to do it next year when going to university. How do you get through the days??? (Besides studying of course... Sticking out tongue)

Luckily, my best friend (whom I'm going to live with during our days at university) goes to conservatory and so, if i want to, i can join her and play on the piano when actually she ought to practise Sticking out tongue. Of course, it's kinda strange to play in front of all those conservatory students although some of them don't have the talent you expect from someone studying at conservatory. Oh well, my friend does and she says I can always come with her if I feel I'm going to die without the piano Sticking out tongue.

Hang on, AH!!! Smiling and Happy New Year

...They keep the boys spinning in their own little world...

Thanks for your responses Eye-wink I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one missing my piano Sticking out tongue At first, when I moved out I was determined to take my piano with me no matter what, but I quickly realized that was impossible (due to space, neighbours etc)... So for now I have to go home to my parents whenever I just HAVE to play Smiling And Samke, as for your question, I also work every night, so I don't think of the piano all the time lol Laughing out loud Emilia - I'm amazed to hear that you own a Boesendorfer - are they better to play? And doesn't it just sound wonderful??
Keep on playing, guys!! And happy new year Laughing out loud

"Excuse me, but can I be you for a while? My dog won't bite if you sit real still"

Oh I could talk about my piano for hours, please don't let me do that! Laughing out loud My Boesendorfer is a very specific one, 'cause it's belonged to my family for more than 100 years. Four generations have learnt playing on it... So now it's rather an antique and we play it only on special occasions, having a new piano for 'daily use'.
Of course, it sounds so beautiful! But this Boesendorfer is so dear to me that I'd have problems with describing it in a dispassionate way Eye-wink It seems to me like the most amazing instrument ever. Sometimes I regret that it's my second instrument, as my mother always wanted me to play violin first. God, I remember being pushed by her to playing as a little girl... Now I live on my own and I have to push myself Sticking out tongue
