That would be a funny Christmas tree. I think die cast is an excellent idea, for durability and metallic paint. That is so funny. I'd probably put them up.

So it was the right concept, but wrong album era. If I knew then what I know now I would have been all over finding that stuff. I love those tangible little connections to the songs. But I have to agree, it sounds like they went straight to the artistic Velveeta for those things. And she deserves/deserved better; I wonder how she felt about them.

P.S. Once I had the correct name I was able to find another description that said it was a Santa figure inside. (yuck)

BC...you are right, I checked the Collectibles Book, and found the sno (that's how Atlantic spelled it) globe. It was a promo item for the release of 'Winter,' as a single, in 1992. The pic in the book is of such poor quality, it's hard to discern what is in the globe. It looks like a little Gnome figure wearing a red hat. On the globe is printed in huge black letters (very ugly) Tori Amos Winter w/ of course the Atlantic logo. These are extremely rare. Atlantic made some strange promo's like the Kellogs 'Corn Flake Girl' box. The majority of these sold on eBay are most likely fakes. There's a promo number stamped on the top. So, anyone bidding on these check the numbers. Another odd promo Atlantic made, was to buy up boxes of Mennen's Teen Spirit Deoderant and placing orange labels on them reading, "Tori Amos Sounds Like." Silly right? Peace...

I love medicine bags, but I think I'd want them larger.

I have heard that the "Pink" tour had a snow globe, but I have never seen it.

MLT...it is a crazy notion, it is after all March, but it's interesting none-the-less. I've got to be honest though, I love the whole ADP concept. However, I'm tiring of the doll images. I know the empty look in their eyes is intentional, but I miss Amos' eyes. Sometimes when I see the dolls on top of my display screen, I dream of just shaking my monitor, like a snow globe, and waiting for pics from SW or TBK to appear. I can look at those forever. Besides if they made ornaments for those two cds, you can display them year round. By the way, I still have my charm from the SW set in my spirit bag. Peace ...

P.S. I just got a crazy notion, TBK snow globes. LOL!!!

yeh no xmas tree stuff/barbie type dolls (imagine tori's face if she was made into an automoton doll, lol), like full porcelain statuettes, but even possibly with a little roguish cartoonism to them

I agree. They do have places that do 3D body scans of people and then cast them as as dolls. (I've seen them on TV segments.) So I guess we would have to decide first who is going to find Tori and talk her into it, then hustle her over to the nearest spot that does it, get her glammed and scanned as each of the girls and fork over the initial cash for it. Because you know that money would be made back up (and then some) very quickly once the molds were set.

i thought about it too... i would enjoy a 'doll' collection done ... maybe not the christmas tree thing - because i would have to go and get a christmas tree... something done tastefully - NO PLASTIC.

a "set" would be a hot item, i bet.
