My whole heart goes out to Amy Winehouse... she is still alive, isn't she??
I hope there are guides for her in her young life.
This isn't about Tori - but just wondering if Tori has reached out to her in one of her songs?

Tori doesn't like gossip. Am I gossipping?
The damage Winehouse has afflicted upon her very-gifted self, w/ drugs is heart breaking. Last year they released 'Frank,' her first cd, in America. Once I saw what she looked like at that time compared to now, it's a pity. My Mother has watched the DVD w/ me several times, and when I showed her the pics from 'Frank,' she gasped out loud and said "Oh, my God!!!" It just brings to mind Neil Young's, "The Damage Done." By the way I am Loving the LE tour. It is so hard to take it out of the CD player. If the UTP tour is on par with it, I may need to beg for it too.

When I first saw Winehouse on the T.V., I thought, "Wow, who's this kid w/ the large band." When I bought the "Back to Black," DVD there's some bonus footage of Winehouse singing in a Seattle club w/ just an acoustic guitar accompaniment. It was astonishing!!! One of the most beautiful performances I've ever seen or heard. Bar none!!! Time simply just stood still. Peace...

I love Amy! What's wrong with her now?
She'll be fine, she's too beautiful to let herself go into the "old deep ravine"
I don't sense that from her, if it's the drugs you're talking about, she'll crawl out of it.
But as far as Tori reaching out to her, she may've when she's reached out to Paris Hilton & Britney Spears when she speaks about Teenage hustling, but I'm sure some of her can relate to Amy.
Tori had her share of the dark world during Pele & Chiorgirl, so, it's all good.

Well, I think U need a copy then. MayB I could send it with the Y Kant Tori Read that I thought U had mentioned needing?
I haven't really listened to her, except to hear parts of "rehab" in passing, and that just made me sad. I think is is really tragic how we get constant pictures and things of her imploding, and there seems to be no one can reach her. Where ever her "bottom" is, if she doesn't hit it soon, it may be too late.

I think her second album is an awesoem throwback 2 the Motown sound of the 60s. It is a shame about her personal life but I try not 2 let it get in the way of my enjoying her music. I actually sent copies of Back To Black to Bush411 and RedBaron whom both enjoyed it. I just wish it wasn't so SHORT!
It's such a shame that someone who clearly is considered to have so much talent by the music industry, can be engaging in such destructive behavior. I really hope she gets the 'reality check' (if that's what you want to call it) that she needs to straighten out her life and do something really good with it.
An extraordinary and very gifted young talent. She may just be a passing flash of briliance, a comet, like Janis. I can only wish her well. Peace...
