Stardust

What an amazing movie "Stardust" is! I've just watched it and I'm over the moon about it... I got introduced to Neil Gaiman and his works through this site about half a year ago, and since then I've read some of his books; including "Stardust" whích I truly adored Smiling So when I saw that the book was now also a movie I was thrilled Laughing out loud
Everyone should watch this film!! It's a great story with lots of fantasy in it, and you just can't help but feeling happy once it's over!! Smiling

This week, I had some kind of a quarrel with a very good friend of mine. By the time I got home, I felt really sad and lonesome, and then I thought: "Tori can help me!" So I listened to her music throughout the whole day, and it was as if she sang directly to me and gave me good advide, knowing exactly what to say to make me feel better Smiling
I realized that my friend was right, and now we're back on good terms Smiling Once again, Tori helped me...

For every song I hear her play
For every interview and for every day
I just love her even more Smiling

I just moved out two months ago, and it's great to live in my own appartment!! However, sometimes I really miss my piano at my parent's Sad I wasn't able to bring it with me, so I only get to play on it whenever I visit my parents... When playing, I feel like meditating, and I can't help but missing it these days!! I hope I will soon be able to move to a bigger place and bring my piano with me Laughing out loud

I just recently heard that some days ago, bombs were found in Copenhagen - and they were on the point of exploding.. I know that terror is a part of the daily life everywhere, but still it kind of shocks me that's it's getting so close!! Each day, I go to that place were the bombs were when going to school -- so it kind of frightened me to read about it Sad
I wonder if any of you have experienced this too?

Well.. In a week my studies at the University of Copenhagen begin and of course I'm very excited! But still, I feel kind of scared of what the future will bring.. I know this maybe sounds silly, but it makes me happy and relieved to know that Tori will always be there for me whenever I need her to comfort me Smiling Btw, I'm going to study French if any of you are interested in knowing... Smiling

It's Tori's birthday, and I've been waiting for this day like a little kid Laughing out loud I've just finished my birthday cake for Tori, and I wanted to share it with all of you by putting a picture of it in here.. But the picture won't be accepted Sad Anyway, it's a chocolate cake, and on the top of it it says, "Happy Bday, Tori" Laughing out loud If any of you are interested in seeing it, you can take a look at myspace:

Scarlet

During the last weeks, I've fallen in love with Tori's song "Scarlet's Walk." I almost cry every time I hear it, especially when she sings,
"I will follow her on her path -- Scarlet's walk through the violets"

Earlier today, I played Tori Amos for my mom for the first time ever, and I was very nervous about how she was going to react to the song. I chose "Pretty Good Year" from UTP, and guess what?? She absolutely adored it Laughing out loud I was thrilled, because my mom seldom listens to music, and when she does it's nothing like Tori's music. I was actually so happy that I danced around in the house Smiling She also liked "Cornflake Girl," which I played afterwards - and when she asked me to lend her the cd some day, I felt as if I were in heaven Smiling

Tori in Falconer in Copenhagen was a lifetime experience... It was my first Tori show ever, and I was amazed from start to end. She started out as Isabel, who entered the stage with a smoking cigarette in her hand - and the first song to be played was "Yo George." The audience was thrilled to see her and hear her sing live - expecially when she started to play "Winter." The audience made so much noise when realising what Tori was going to play that she suddenly said "I'm doing this because I like you" Smiling We like you too, Tori! Thank you for an amazing experience!!
