So, I just wanted to let you guys know that here in the Midwestern U.S., some bad flooding has been happening. In counties west/south of here, lots of folks have lost their homes and businesses, some without any insurance.

This is personal for me because one year ago, we lost our home near the Grand River in a flood. We spent two weeks living in a hotel and got an apartment with FEMA's help right before my kids went back to school. Our city is helping us to recover our losses, but we will never again be able to return to our house.

Well, I go on two Tori forums; this is one of 'em.
Strangely enough, conspiracy-theory talk on both forums lately, especially today.
