We (my sister Christina and our Friend Manuel) hear that Tori would be coming out on Jed the Fish on KROQ. We wanted to say hello to Tori since we hadn't seen her in a few months. We waited in the Burbank building before the interview and Tori arrived. She was excited to see us (and remembered our names), then she shocks us when she says, "Hey, do you guys want to come up to KROQ?" We almost died!!!! "Yes," we exclaimed!!!

October 1992 . . . we were having "tori withdrawals," as we called them. We'd seen 3 concerts, 2 late night show tapings, met a couple more times at the radio station, and we were having withdrawals!

It was September 1992 when Tori was going to appear on Loveline, a show put out by KROQ (in los angeles). On Sunday nights it aired from 10:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. My friends and I didn't hold major career jobs (only retail) so it wasn't a big deal to jump in the car and head over to KROQ in Burbank in hopes that we would get to talk to Tori. Well, guess what???

August 24th 1992 (the very next day.) We really wanted to thank Tori for the previous day so we went out and got her some roses. We decided to do the same thing: wait for her in the back alley behind the Henry Fonda Theatre. We waited and waited and waited, but she never showed up. My friend Manuel said (after a few hours) that she probably wouldn't do a soundcheck on the third night of the show.

It was August of 1992. My friends and I decided to TRY to meet her before her soundcheck. We got there early (August heat in California . . . yuck!) and waited. We waited in an alley behind the Henry Fonda Theatre for hours. Finally, this black Januar pulled into the alley and we could see her red hair flowing in the back seat. My heart stopped. She got out of the Jaguar, put her bags down and came right up to me and hugged me. Just like that! She hugged my friends, too. We were speechless!
