I recently read this book for a class, and fell in love. I love the way Atwood reworks the theme from The Robber Bridegroom tale--a woman is the one "stealing" and destroying men, instead of the other way around. I wonder if Tori has ever read it? I kept thinking that all the way through the book, because the women in the story have pieces of them that are reminiscent of the dolls from ADP. Their personalities are so different...yet they are all tied together in ways, and rely upon each other.

If you've read it...would you agree that:

Zenia = Pip
Charis = Clyde
Tony = Isabel

This is a word we use to plug
holes with. It's the right size for those warm
blanks in speech, for those red heart-
shaped vacancies on the page that look nothing
like real hearts. Add lace
and you can sell
it. We insert it also in the one empty
space on the printed form
that comes with no instructions. There are whole
magazines with not much in them
but the word love, you can
rub it all over your body and you
can cook with it too. How do we know
it isn't what goes on at the cool
debaucheries of slugs under damp
pieces of cardboard? As for the weed-

Woooow...I just took a hip-hop class with a couple friends (I haven't danced in years) and now I am massively sore!! I doubt I'll be able to get out of bed in the morning...at least not easily. It felt really great to dance again though, I've really missed it...more than I thought I did. It is worth the soreness I suppose Eye-wink It's important to not give up the things we really love in life...dance is one of those things for me <3

Have a good night everyone!

I hope you have a fabulous 2008!! =]

Wow. I don't think words suffice at all, in describing Tori’s show--so I won’t try to.

I am extremely excited to say...**insert drum roll here** that my parents bought me tickets to see Tori in concert on December 15th (Anaheim, CA) as an early birthday present! I couldn't ask for a better gift! I was actually about to purchase my tickets about 2 weeks ago, when my Mom, for some unknown (at the time) reason to me, kept trying to disuade me from buying them?
