The reason I am a fan is Tori Amos is able to bring something through her music, to me that no other artist has been able to. There is a deep connection I have with her music. It just gives me a feeling that, I can't describe. For instance in the song "Daisy Dead Petals" there is a bridge and she sings "...wish what I'm feeling could go on like this forever..." well, the way that part of the song makes me feel, I wish it could go on forever. Music is my escape. It is my drug. Listening to Tori keeps me from going into withdrawal.
There are so many things I can say. I think she proves that female musicians can be more than push-up bras and high-heels, although she's dawned some of this garb and looks great! I guess what I'm saying is, she is a true artist. Her voice is beautiful, unpackaged, unbridled. And the chord progressions she uses is her music, her talent just can't be met. Nothing else has made me feel this way.
Don't get me wrong, I like other music but Tori is my primary choice of listening.
JAX
I hope she comes to Jacksonville in between the Atlanta and West Palm Beach dates. That would rock.
