i have been trying to let some time pass to give my perspective on the shows. to put it simply, i could have seen tori 5 times and it would not have been enough. with the wealth of material she could go on forever. i dont know if it's new york city but every artist that comes here elevates their playing to another level and so did tori and the boys.

who's piano playing, vocal stylings and songwriting abilities has define a generation of music listeners like myself, yes, a red baron.

i finaly got mtv around the early 90's, used to live in an area where cable meant a cable not t.v.
so my insatiable appetite for mtv led to my discorery of tori amos but not until i first heard
cornflake girl's piano playing and the double piano solos at the end of the song, at that first listening
she reached into me and never let go of me. i remember playing that song over 30 times that day
and i havent looked back since. when i'm driving and corngirl comes in i find myself playing airpiano
to her solo it is that good. seen her 3 times in 96, 98, 2003 and will attend her two n.y.c. shows.
