I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

One day I went to the drugstore, just up the block. I heard this great song on the radio, and I wondered who it was. I heard the announcer say that Tori Amos was the artist, I'd never heard of her before, but I knew right then, I wanted to hear more. It was 1993.

I asked my little sister, have you ever heard this song, and she said, "Yes, that's Tori Amos, you should really hear it all". It was Little Earthquakes, and that was the start. I went to my first Tori concert that year, and she reached into my heart.

Little Earthquakes touched me, deep inside my soul. It spoke to all my problems, and let my emotions go. I couldn't wait to hear more.

And over all the the years I greeted every new release with joy.

I've looked to Tori's music as a salvation and a goad. Her music made me face my fears and my hopes. Made me mad, helped me cope. Let me know I wasn't so alone.

So to anyone who reads this, I hope you feel the same. Tori is a gift to us, a bright and shining flame.

May the light of inspiration always be beside her, and all who know her music, feel it in their souls. And find some inspiration, to go for all their goals.
