Tori is like no other artist out there. She's truly unique.
Her music, for me, can be emotionally overwhelming. Deeply penetrating my heart and soul. And always leaves me wanting to listen more.
She's truly an amazing woman and knows how to please her fans!
And she always helps me deal with my pain and helps me to feel a bit better
She always makes me smile when I'm watching/reading/listening to interviews with the things she says! And when discussing sad issues she even makes me cry.
I find it so hard to put into words how much I love this woman.
I'm so grateful for her music! And that I can listen any time!
How I Discovered Tori
I first heard Tori when I was about 7 or 8 years old, it was the 'Professional Widow' remix. It was huge over here, and I loved it! However, I didn't know who the artist was or the name of the song.
Then in late 2004/early 2005 I was downloading fan-made music videos of the T.V show 'Charmed'. I found one with no credit to the artist, but I was in love with the song. The song was 'Lust'.
Because I didn't know who she was, I just played the video over and over for days on end.
Then while watching 'Charmed' like a week later, 'Lust' was the song played just after the opening credits. So I obviously rushed to my computer, to find out what songs were played on that episode.
To my suprise there were alot more than I expected.
So I downloaded every song, till I found Tori.
Straight away I downloaded more and more of her work! I became radiply obsessed!
Then I went on to buying her albums, starting with 'The Beekeeper' then 'Tales' and I forget how the rest goes lol
There's not one song of Tori's I could possibly skip while. She's eliminated the other artists I love (well, excluding 'No Doubt') because when I listen to another artist I actually get bored very easily and lust for Tori to pleasure my ears
My thoughts
I absolutely LOVE this album!
I can't put into words how much I love it!
Every song is amazing! Especially 'Ribbons Undone'
I know after during and after this album, many EWF's thought that Tori was getting softer in her old age, and weren't liking it very much.
But I was looking forward to another album like this!
And I hope she does another one like it in the future
In my "why I like Tori" section on this site I said her music deeply penetrates my heart and soul.
And I have to say I feel it most with this album!
