that I'm a huge Tori fan is because I feel like myself only better when I hear her voice. I dont know how else to explain it. I was around 13 when my older brother brought home Little Earthquakes, I could not stop listening to it, I got my 3 sisters addicted to the sound and feeling as well. I have since bought every album, and been to four shows.....not enough I might add, but it has been a way for us girls to share our love for Tori and eachother, it is now a sisterly tradition to go to the show and catch up with eachother. A while back my sister Fairlight and I went to see her in Boston when after years I was looking her in the eyes. I was leaving an abusive relationship with 3 children, when she looked in me and asked me what was in my life, I could think of no other word but chaos. She held my hand and spoke to me as if she had known me for years. A 10 minute conversaition on turning chaos into creativity, she wrote the name of a book down for me and my life has been changed ever since. I cried and screamed, not with her there of course but I got it out. A few months later I found out that the bootlegs were going to be released, one of the shows in the set was going to be the Boston performance. By far that was the best show I have seen I got to meet her, she gave me the best advice at a huge turning point in my life and it was all recorded. I got the set and when I did the, art on the cover was an obvious choice for my new skin art. I have Yet one more reason why she has writen the soundtrack for my life. Right down to that first copy of Little Eathquakes.
